What: Annual public education event presented by ASID – “How and Why to Hire an Interior Designer”
Award-winning ASID interior designers speak about the process of hiring and working with an interior designer. Attendees will learn what they can expect during the various design phases of planning and implementing their particular project. Budget concerns? This forum will help answer questions as to how qualified designers work to save their clients money – as well as time; in addition to ensuring their health, safety and well-being.
This event is a launch in April 2010 of their annual fundraiser tabbed, “Design for Hire” whereby consumers can sign up for 2 hours of design consultation an ASID professional or Allied Member who volunteers their time in exchange for a $75 donation per hour to the organization. It’s a wonderful opportunity for individuals to experience an interior designer and how they may assist in both commercial & residential projects & help ASID raise funds for educational programs.
